Careers

Careers at Infinity Networks

We hire people who want to own an environment end to end. If your idea of a good day is closing forty tickets without understanding any of them, this is the wrong firm.

What it is like

Small team, real ownership

On a small engineering bench you are not a tier in a queue. You get assigned environments, you learn them properly, and you are the person who knows why a decision was made two years ago. That is more responsibility and considerably more interesting than the alternative.

It also means the work is varied. In one week you might design a segmentation plan for a clubhouse campus, argue signal levels with a carrier, cut over a firewall at 11 p.m. and then sit in a board meeting explaining why the second circuit is worth keeping.

We are not going to pretend the after-hours work does not exist. Cutovers happen at night and outages do not respect a calendar. What we can say is that it is scheduled, it is compensated, and it is not constant, because the entire point of how we build is that well engineered networks are quiet.

What we look for

  • Genuine curiosity about how things work below the abstraction
  • Willingness to say “I do not know yet” and then go find out
  • Documentation as a habit rather than an afterthought
  • Composure with a client during an outage
  • The judgment to escalate early instead of quietly struggling
  • Clean, plain writing, because most of our output is written
  • A valid Florida driver license and reliable transportation for field roles

Certifications are useful signals and we will support you in earning them. They do not substitute for being able to explain what you did and why.

Nothing that fits?

We keep a bench. If you are strong and the timing is wrong, send your resume anyway and tell us what you want to be doing in two years. We would rather know you exist before we have a requisition open.

Hiring process

Four steps, no theater

A conversation about your background, a technical discussion with an engineer, a working session on a realistic scenario, and a reference check. We do not run whiteboard puzzles that have nothing to do with the job.

Robert: add your EEO statement, benefits summary and any required Florida employment notices before publishing this page.
